The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a level landscape that is c. 150m NE of the original shore of Ballyteige Lough as marked on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map that is similar to its depiction on the Down Survey map (1656-8). The cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 60m NE-SW; c. 60m NW-SE) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM 42) 6-9). It might incorporate a NE-SW field bank at NW and may be a field.
