The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a fairly level landscape with a slight slope down to the W. The cropmark of a portion of a ditch feature creating a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 30m WNW-ESE; c. 15m NNE-SSW) is visible on the N side of a field bank on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AYK 15; ASIAP (8) 22, 23). Rath (WX047-008----) is c. 120m to the ENE. Archaeological testing (04E0497) c. 50m to the NE at the nearest point failed to produce any related material (McLoughlin 2004)
