The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a slight rise in a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 80m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (43) 2-5, 27-32) and on digital aerial photographs (WX047-137_1 to _4). It is contemporary with rath (WX047-137003-) as its fosse is attached to the fosse of the rath at NE. No entrance is visible and it was probably a field utilising the slightly higher ground. Enclosure (WX047-137001-) is c. 70m to the SW.
