The National Monuments Service's description

Located on top of a prominent knoll. An arc of an earthen bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.4m) and hedge survives SW-NE (C 34m), with no visible fosse or entrance. It is known locally as a rath.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
