The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the bottom of a SE-facing slope. The cropmark of a field boundary defined by one or two drainage ditches follows a contour at the bottom of the slope and extends SW from the roadway (WX045-089----) at Clonmines. At its SW end it rises up the hillslope and curves N (L c. 400m). It is probably post-medieval in date as it relates to field banks marked on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map.
