The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on low-lying ground at the bottom of an E-facing slope and on the W bank of the meandering N-S Corrock/Owenduff river. The cropmark of what may be a road (L c. 300m; Wth c. 10m) defined by two drain features extends SW from the Sutton castle (WX045-012005-) at Clonmines. It terminates in the marshy area where a small SW-NE stream enters the main river.
