The National Monuments Service's description

This is a granite stone (dims. 1.36m x 0.57-1.24m; H 0.38m) with one rounded basin (diam. 0.5m; D 0.34m), which is locally thought to cure warts. It was located beside an E-W field bank on a gentle E-facing slope, but it was moved a short distance to its present location (WX045-015002-) on the E side of the enlarged field c. 1982.
