The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a N-facing slope overlooking the inner harbour of Wexford. Archaeological testing (06E1089) identified the remains of a burnt mound spread (dims c. 27m x c. 23m) in Trench 13 of Field 11 on an extensive development site. It was set aside for further possilbe work, should it be deemed necessary. (McLoughlin 2007, 7, 9)
