Situated on a SE-facing slope. A rectangular enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW: c. 30m NW-SE) is visible on LiDAR images taken in relation to the re-aligned N25 New Ross to Wexford road, for which see this web-page: https://dcenr.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=b7c4b0e763964070ad69bf8c1572c9f5 accessed on 03/12/2018. It is also visible on Google Earth (16/04/2015) and appears to have a widely spread bank and outer moats. It was first reported by Sinéad Marshall.
