The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and located towards the bottom of a steep NW-facing slope of a low NE-SW ridge. It is not visible at ground level in pasture, apart from a slight curve in a field bank at NE. The possible ringfort (WX031-034----) is just 20m to the W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
