The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the bottom of a small W-E valley. A grass-covered area of c. 10 acres (c. 3.8 ha) is divided into small relict rectangular fields (dims. c. 50m x 40m) defined by scarps and widely spread banks.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
