The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1839 (ext. diam. c. 75-80m) and 1925 (ext. diam. c. 50m) eds of the OS 6-inch map and situated in a small NW-SE valley with the stream c. 80m to the SW. It is not visible at ground level in a root crop but it is visible as a bivallate cropmark (ext. diam. c. 50m) on aerial photographs (ASIAP (10) 22-26).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
