The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a fairly level landscape in the valley of a small E-W stream which is c. 50m to the S. The cropmark of a rectangular enclosure is visible on aerial photographs (MM (33) 26–9). It is visible on the ground as a raised rectangular area (dims. c. 40m NW–SE; c. 35m NE–SW) in a cereal crop defined by a fosse or moat (Wth c. 3–5m) on the W on the N sides. A N-S laneway cuts across the SE corner. It is also visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018).
