The National Monuments Service's description

Situated towards the bottom of the N-facing slope of an ENE-WSW ridge. St. Bridget's holy well is thought to be buried beneath a large boulder just SE of the motte (WX016-014001-). Church (WX016-015001-) is c. 170m to the E.
