The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle E-facing slope and c. 15m from a small canalised NW-SE stream. Archaeological testing (20E0247) over a large area (dims c. 200mNE-SW; c. 130m NW-SE) identified a burnt mound as a spread of broken and burnt stone (dims c. 8m NE-SW; c. 6m NW-SE; max. D 0.35m). (McLoughlin 2020)
