Situated on a fairly steep E-facing slope, with a N-S stream c. 180m to the E. Marked as a cirular enclosure (diam. c. 40-45m) on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and described locally as having had a large bank and deep fosse, now destroyed. This is a circular, grass-covered area (diam. 24m) defined by a curve in the field bank at N and a slight lip at S. It is also visible s a faint cropmark on Google Earth (14/07/2018).
