The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a shallow basin at the source of the W-E River Lask, with a slight hill c. 800m to the E and higher hills c. 2km to the NW in Co. Wicklow. This is a circular area (diam. c. 10m) surrounded by a waterlogged fosse (Wth c. 8-10m; D c. 0.7-0.95m) and outer earthen and stone bank (Wth 4.5m; ext. H 0.4m). There is a break in bank (Wth 5m) at SSE (max. ext. diam. c. 35m). Pond (WX006-083002-) is c. 30m to the SW and barrow (WX006-083004-) is c. 30m to the E.
