The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a shallow basin at the source of the W-E River Lask, with a slight hill c. 800m to the E and higher hills c. 2km to the NW in Co. Wicklow. This is a circular area (diam. c. 8m) surrounded by a water-logged fosse (Wth c. 10m) and an outer earth and stone bank (Wth 4.5m; ext. H 0.3m). There is a break in the bank (Wth 6m) at SE (max. ext. diam. c. 35m). Pond (WX006-083001-) is c. 30m to the SW and Pond (WX006-083003-) is c. 30m to the NE. It is in a coniferous wood.
