The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a SE-facing slope. This is the parish church of Kilmakilloge parish. The grass-covered remains of an undivided nave and chancel church (ext. dims. 21m E-W; 8m N-S; int. dims. 17.8m E-W; 4.8m N-S; H 0.5-1m) are within a rectangular graveyard (dims. c. 65m E-W; c. 65m N-S) that has been extended the E and N (dims c. 130m ENE-WSW; c. 95m NNW-SSE). The church has no distinguishing features but there may have been a doorway at W end of N wall where there is a break (Wth 1.5m). Limerick Castle (WX003-024----) is c. 450m to the W and earthwork (WX003-025----) is c. 100m to the WSW.
