The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in the valley of the NE-SW River Bann, with the stream c. 200m to the SE and Laraheen Hill rising over it c. 1.3km to the SE. When the cist (WX002-025001-) was discovered in 1948, there were reports of other discoveries of cists in the same vicinity, but they could not be confirmed. (Hartnett and Prendergast 1953, 46-9)
