The National Monuments Service's description

The site (Wth 4.3m; D 0.56m) is composed of a band of brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.045m), roundwoods (diam. 0.065-0.08m) and occasional twigs. The brushwood and roundwoods occurs in small, dispersed clusters with the majority of elements orientated NW-SE. The twigs occur around and between these clusters. The orientation of the site is not clear. Wood species include birch, willow, hazel, ash and Viburnum. It is located in poorly humified Sphagnum peat containing ericaceous remains and Eriophorum. The site is one of six closely situated sites along an 11m length of this drain, including SMR WM039-342---- 4.2m to the NE and SMR WM039-258---- in the opposing drain face. SMR WM039-366---- is located 2.2m to the SW.
