The National Monuments Service's description
Two roundwoods and a piece of heavy brushwood set approximately parallel to one another on the field surface with three other irregularly placed pieces of brushwood (L 0.8m min.; Wth 0.8m; D 0.1m). The parallel elements are set 0.1-0.15m apart and orientated N-S, with two further pieces immediately to the E. The wood is in mixed condition with toolmarks and branch-trimming evident. This material is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
