The National Monuments Service's description

Depicted as a roughly circular-shaped enclosure intersected at N by a road or lane running roughly E-W on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. On subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps the monument is depicted as a rectangular shaped platform. On rising ground with good views to the S. Roughly rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 35m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank with traces of a shallow external fosse. Possible causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3.5m) at S. A narrow lane running E-W intersects the N side of the monument as shown on the OS 6-inch maps. The possible ringfort is covered with bushes and trees making detailed examination of the monument difficult.
