The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on top of a low rise of ground with good views of the surrounding countryside. No surface remains visible. Monument was described in 1973 as consiting of a large oval-shaped area (diam. c. 40m N-S; 55m E-W) defined by a low wide bank with shallow external fosse with traces of an external bank visible at N only. The SE sector of the monument has been damaged by quarrying. The interior is uneven with cultivation ridges aligned E-W running across the centre of the ringfort.
