The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a rise, in rough pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Ringfort (WM036-002----) lies c. 160m to N. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 30m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank and external fosse. The inner bank is only visible from WSW-W-WNW and is reduced to a scarp elsewhere, being quite low from NNE-E-ESE. There is a shallow external fosse only visible from WSW-W-WNW. The interior is relatively level. A number of large field clearance boulders have been pushed up against the monument. Monument is visible today as a vague cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
