The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a ridge running NE-SW, in pasture, with good views to E and S. Ringfort (WM036-007----) lies c. 160m to S. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and depicted as as a subrectangular-shaped tree-planted enclosure. Shown on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a D-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 33m) enclosed by a scarp best preserved from S-W-N. The interior rises from the perimeter at W towards the centre and falls sharply toward the low embankment at E. Levelled monument described in 1977 as no surface remains visible. Levelled site is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
