The National Monuments Service's description

An irregular deposit (L 5.25m; Wth 2.28m; D 0.1m min.) of mixed brushwood and twigs. The material is widely spaced with no discernible structure or orientation. A number of pieces have been displaced by machinery. The condition of the wood is poor and there is a single metal-cut chisel point is present. This site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and Eriophorum.
