The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the edge of a scrub-covered ridge, otherwise in pasture. Barrow (WM031-084----) abuts directly to NW. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan. Depicted on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Not shown on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map. Levelled monument described in 1973 as no surface remains visible. Levelled monument is obscured today by scrub vegetation on Digital Globe aerial photography.
