The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise, in pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Depicted on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 23m) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank, a shallow intervening fosse and slight traces of an outer bank. Some boulders lie on the bank at E. Some boulders lie near the bank on the Southern side. The interior is relatively level and is scattered with stones and small boulders which do not form any coherent pattern. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
