The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a rise, in pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Depicted on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 24m) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank with possible entrance at SE. Some boulders lie on the bank at E. The interior rises gently from the perimeter towards the centre and has a smooth surface. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
