The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in grassland 135m W of Farnagh Castle. Outline of circular shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 31m) bisected by a later field boundary visible on Google Earth imagery taken 02/04/2013 and on Digital Globe aerial photographs. Depicted as a circular-shaped tree-plantation and not as an antiquity on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map. Possibly the remains of a ringfort that was reused as a landscape feature. Alternatively the enclosure may represent the remains of a tree-ring of post-1700 date.
