The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a rise, in pasture, with commanding views of the surrounding landscape. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a small roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 31m) enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. The inner bank is of earth and stone and has evidence of disturbance at N and SE. There is a double inner bank at SE which is much lower than the bank which surrounds the remainder of the interior. This double bank may be the result of robbing the original bank of earth and stone. There is a well preserved intervening fosse. The outer bank appears to have been added to when constructing the surrounding field boundary which runs concurrent to it from SW-W-N-E-SE. The outer bank is relatively low from NE-E-S-SW. The interior has a S-facing slope. A house site (WM030-006001-) is visible in the NW quadrant. Monument is visible today as a tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
