The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly oval-shaped tree-lined earthwork. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped earthwork. Monument is visible today as a partially scrub-covered oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
