The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped enclosure, annotated 'Rahaclowine'. Monument described in 1971 as a small circular-shaped area (dims. 27.2m N-S; 25.3m E-W) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The earth and stone bank is twice as high on the exterior than on the interior and is almost reduced to a scarp in places. It has slight remains of external stone facing at SW and there are several slight cattle gaps. There is a narrow, shallow fosse visible from SSE-S-W-N-NNE, which is almost completely infilled from NNE-E-SSE. There is a very large stone laid against the bank exterior at SE. The entrance is not recognisable. The interior has a slight SSE-facing slope and is tree-planted.
