Situated at the base of a S-facing rise, in relatively low-lying tillage. Ringfort (WM026-058----) lies c. 75m to W. Within enclosure (WM026-059----). Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a thin straight line (approx. L 12m) with a field boundary parallel approx. 9m to S. Monument described as the remains of a rectangular-shaped building (approx. overall L 12m) defined by the S wall with a short return of the E and W walls at either end. The walls (Wth c. 0.6m) are high (max. H 4m) and form round corners externally and square corners internally. They comprise of a roughly coursed bonded masonry of which the mortar appears to contain fragments of crushed clay. There is a window opening in the centre of the S wall and only a small portion of its E side remains intact and is undressed. The way in which the arch has collapsed could suggest that it may have been pointed. The opposite side, top and base of the window have collapsed. The date of the wall is not clear but there is some bricks visible in it and some broken fragments of bricks are lying in and on the top of the wall. No surface remains visible today of the building on Digital Globe aerial photography.
