The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle NNE-facing slope, in pasture. Monument described in the 1970s as a subcircular-shaped area (dims. 28m E-W; 27m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. The inner bank is almost reduced to a scarp and has several modern gaps. It has been modified to form part of a modern fence from SSE-S-SSW. The intervening fosse is best preserved from WSW-W-N-E. The outer bank survives from WSW-W-N-E and is denuded from E-S-WSW. It is depicted on the 1837 OS 25-inch map and could potentially be a relatively modern bank which contacts the inner bank at N. No clear entrance feature visible. The interior has a gentle W-facing slope with cultivation ridges running E-W.
