The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a NE-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture, with good views to NW, NE and SE. Monument described in 1971 as a small subcircular-shaped area (dims. 30m E-W; 26.6m N-S) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. A low earthen bank is best preserved from SSE-S-W and is almost reduced to a scarp from W-N-E-SSE. The bank and scarp have several modern disturbance gaps. There are slight remains of an outer fosse which is visible from S-SW and from W-NNW. A low earthen bank crosses the fosse and intersects the foot of the scarp at WNW and appears to be a later feature. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior has a gentle NNE-facing slope. A slight depression in the NW quadrant represents the site of a souterrain (WM024-141001-).
