The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a very slight rise, in relatively low-lying, wet pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Within the W half of ringfort (WM023-078001-) is a suboval-shaped house site (dims. 18.5m NW-SE) enclosed by a low bank which is reduced to a scarp in places and defaced by livestock. The bank is incorporated into the bank of the ringfort from SSW-W-NW. A gap (Wth at top 7.6m; basal Wth 3.5m) at SSE may represent an entrance. This house site appears to be a later feature as its slight fosse cuts through the fosse of the ringfort. There is a small disturbance depression on the exterior at SE. A Preservation Order was placed on this monument on 11/02/1975 (SMR file).
