The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in low-lying level pasture with good views in all directions. Bivallate ringfort described in 1971 and 1978 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 36m) enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse, an outer bank with external fosse. The inner bank is quite low and is almost reduced to a scarp. It is slightly defaced at WNW which corresponds to a causeway-like feature across the fosse at this point which may represent the original entrance. A similar feature at SE appears to be due to disturbance. There are traces of a U-shaped intervening fosse. An outer bank and an outer fosse are visible from S-W-N-E. A post-1700 field fence extends just outside the inner bank from WNW-N-NE. The interior has a slight W-facing slope.
