The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the foot of a hill, in pasture, with good views from S-SW. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1970-2 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 25.5m NW-SE; 22m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The bank is visible from WSW-NNW and is reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) elsewhere. The U-shaped fosse is only visible from W-N-E. No entrance feature visible. The interior has a gentle SW-facing slope and there are broad cultivation ridges running NE-SW across it. Levelled ringfort is visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
