The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low round-topped hillock, in gently undulating pasture, on a former deer park of Killynan House. On the inner edge of the scarp in NE quadrant of ringfort (WM020-001----) are the remains of a sub-rectangular shaped hut site defined by low grass-covered earth and stone bank with no clear entrance feature visible. Outline of hut site is clearly visible on oblique aerial photograph taken in 1970 (CUCAP BDV085).
