The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in relatively low-lying, gently undulating pasture, overlooked by higher ground to NE, E and SE. Ringfort (WM019-006----) lies c. 140m to SW. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped tree-lined earthwork (diam. 24m) which is respected by a field boundary running NW-SE to SW. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a slightly modified, roughly oval-shaped earthwork.
Monument described in 1970 as a much disturbed roughly circular platform (diam. 24m) defined by a steep scarp and traces of a fosse. The scarp (H 1.8m) does not appear to have been interfered with from S-W. A modern ramp has been constructed up the scarp and into the interior at WNW. The scarp has been lowered by the building of a modern tractor path along its upper edge from WNW-N-E-SE. A large concrete silo pit running NW-SE has been cut down into the platform across the SSE half of the monument. Upcast from the excavation of this pit lies to the NNE side of it. The original entrance is not recognisable. There are very slight traces of a fosse at the base of the scarp from S-SW-W. It is unclear if this platform was artificially raised at the centre or whether the earthwork was constructed on a natural rise. Monument is visible today as a roughly oval-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
