The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in good pasture. Not depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped earthwork enclosed by a field boundary to E. Monument described in 1983 as a large circular-shaped ringfort (diam. 64m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone, having no indications of an external ditch. The bank (approx. H 1-1.5m) is well preserved except where low in profile from WSW-W-WNW. It has been incorporated into a modern field fence from NE-E-ESE. There is a gap at E which is defined on one side by a large upright slab which may indicate an entrance feature. The interior is covered by cultivation ridges and in the centre there is a natural hillock with the remains of two house foundations (WM018-060001-). There are indications of a probable internal division on the E side of the enclosure. Well preserved monument is clearly visible as an oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.

See attached plan of monument surveyed and drawn by ASI.
