The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on reclaimed grassland, c. 170m to SE of the Royal Canal. Not depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map or the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map. Identified by aerial photography in 1973 as a large oval enclosure containing a series of four oblong, roughly rectangular earthworks and three roughly square earthworks (WM018-005----) (AP taken October 1973). Monument visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography as a large, oval-shaped enclosure (approx. dims. 90m NW-SE; 68m NE-SW) containing three roughly square-shaped mounds closely arranged off-centre to SE and four oblong, roughly rectangular-shaped mounds to SW, NW, N and E.
