The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, 45m S of a small stream that marks the townland boundary with Clonmorrill. The ringfort is located on low ground rising above areas of marshy pasture to the S, SW and NW. There are few known monuments In the vicinity of the site with the exception of a ringfort (WM014-015----) located 900m to the N. The site is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but is partially visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Edmond O'Donovan during fieldwork in 2021 as an oval-shaped ringfort (ext. diam. c. 62m N-S; 55m E-W). The site has been levelled in antiquity and is characterised by a central flat level interior surrounded by an external bank and shallow fosse. The ringfort bank survives as a curving feature on the W side (L 37m; Wth 7m; H int. 0.75; ext. 1m), it has been removed around the remainder of the site. The N, S and E side of the ringfort is traceable largely though the subtle presence of the fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.2m). Subtle external features such as relic field boundaries appear to be present on the SE and E side of the monument. The ringfort is clearly visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimage taken 17/01/2020. Also clearly visible on Google Earth orthophoto taken 05/10/2009.
