The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a hillock with higher ground to SW, good views in all other directions. Ringfort (WM103-043---) lies 150m to NW, second ringfort (WM013-045---) 200m to SE. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as an oval-shaped enclosure annotated as ‘fort’. This site was levelled around 1966 (OPW Field Report 29/03/1966). All that is visible now is a low rise of ground (approx. diam. 27m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) defined by a faint scarp. Cropmark of levelled monument visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
