The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the summit, of a steep hill with extensive views in all directions. Ringfort (WM012-058---) 135m to WNW. A large sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 38m NW-SE) enclosed by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is poorly preserved and has several disturbance gaps, the fosse is steep and flat-bottomed and the outer bank is little more than a poorly preserved counter-scarp bank. There is an entrance gap in the inner bank at SE (Wth 2.8m) and causeway (Wth 3m; H 0.3m) across the fosse. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running across the interior from E-W. A field fence running NW-SE intersects the perimeter of the monument at NE.
See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
