The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on sloping ground in forestry. Railway line 300m to W. Ringfort (WM011-070----) 360m to NW. Ringfort (WM011-071---) 200m to SSE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 46m E-W) enclosed by a substantial earth and stone bank and external fosse. The interior is flat, and is overgrown with trees. The site is now completely surrounded by forestry as can be seen on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
