The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a small steep natural hillock surrounded by undulating grassland. Depicted on the OS Fair Plan as a small oval enclosure and annotated as ‘fort’. This site has been levelled. All that remains now is a short curving arc of poorly preserved earthen bank visible from SSE-S-W. Visible as a faint crop mark on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
