The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a prominent hill overlooking Lough Nacarrick 60m to W in undulating grassland with extensive views in all directions. Earthwork (WM008-088----) 320m to N. Church (WM008-090----) and graveyard (WM008-090001-) 240m to SW. Known locally as ‘The Court or Old Court’. Present remains consist of a rectangular structure (max. ext. dims. 13.7m x 16.6m E-W) aligned E-W defined by low grass-covered stone walls with possible rounded corners. At NW is a rounded corner where the stone facing has fallen away revealing mortared wall. A stone head that had been built into the end of wall of the old barn house to the S was removed years ago and is now housed in the National Museum of Ireland (ASI field Report 25/03/1980).
